context
The FNQLEDC supports and assists community economic development agents and as well as First Nations members in the realization of their private or collective projects. Over the past three years, the FNQLEDC has seen a significant increase in the number of requests. This growth has led to an increase in the complexity of its internal processes, due to the lack of information visibility and the use of Excel and Word files. Digital transformation was imperative to effectively manage the entrepreneurial support needs of around 200 First Nations entrepreneurs a year.

Gains
The introduction of Zoho CRM has significantly improved the collection and organization of information, which was previously scattered across dozens of separate Excel files. The procedure for collecting essential documents from contractors is now simplified: these files are automatically associated with contact records, eliminating the need for back-and-forth and extensive manipulation. What’s more, reports and dashboards greatly simplify reporting to the various funding bodies. What used to take hours to provide information is now done in just a few clicks, thanks to CRM.
