Zoholics Toronto 2025 Recap: What’s New in the Zoho Universe?

The NSI team is back from Zoholics Toronto 2025, where the Zoho community gathered to unveil, explore, and celebrate the latest innovations in the Zoho ecosystem. This year’s event was buzzing with product updates, AI-powered enhancements, and a renewed focus on delivering simple, sustainable, and powerful business solutions.

As Zoho’s first Premium Partner in Canada, we’re excited to share the key highlights that will help your business evolve and thrive. Let’s dive into what’s new!

Zoho One Admin: A Unified, Intelligent, and Personalized Platform 

Big news from Zoholics 2025: Zoho One has officially launched its unified platform, offering a fully customizable workspace designed to boost your productivity across personal, organizational, financial, marketing, and sales functions. And yes, you can even create your own custom workspaces.

Your Work, Your Way

Under the “Personal” workspace, Zoho One intelligently connects your apps to bring relevant data directly to you. For example, your Zoho Projects tasks appear neatly under your “Tasks” section, no more jumping from app to app. The apps come to you.

Centralized Action Panel

Introducing the Action Panel: your new command center. All your pending actions (like approvals or validations) are now in one place, no matter which Zoho app they originate from. It’s a unified to-do list across your entire system.

Build Workflows with Zia

Zia, Zoho’s AI assistant, now lets you automate workflows just by asking. Say something like:

“Create a workflow when a deal is won over $10,000.”

Zia will:

  • Understand your request
  • Suggest the appropriate steps
  • Generate the workflow
  • Give it a name
  • And provide a direct link so you can activate or edit it

Finance & Operations: Automation Meets Intelligence 

Payroll: Canadian Coverage, Smarter Tools

Zoho Payroll is now officially available across all 13 provinces and territories in Canada. Features include:

  • Direct deposit via Forte
  • CPP/QPP, EI, QPIP compliance
  • T4 and RL-1 generation
  • Zoho Books & Expense integration

Bonus: AI-powered employee chatbot, with more to come: including contractor support, Zoho People & Practice integrations, timesheets, and anomaly detection.

This year brought huge improvements across Zoho Books, Zoho Commerce, Zoho Inventory, and Zoho Spend:

Zoho Books

  • New per-user language settings
  • AI-powered invoicing bot (co-create invoices with a prompt!)
  • Advanced tax automation powered by Avalara
  • Account hierarchy available in early access

Zoho Commerce & Zoho Inventory

  • New gift card management
  • Subscription product support
  • Consignment inventory tracking

Zoho Spend

  • Self-booking for flights
  • Sustainability tracking (yes, you can now measure your carbon footprint)
  • End-to-end procurement management
  • Mileage automation based on routes and validation rules

Vendor Payments: Canada-Friendly Batch Payments

While Zoho’s native tools don’t yet support batch payments with Canadian banks, Zefty.ca fills the gap by allowing:

  • Bulk payments compatible with 9+ Canadian banks
  • Seamless Zoho Books integration

Sales: A Clearer View with “Work in Progress” 

Zoho CRM has introduced a new “Work in Progress” tab, giving sales teams a consolidated view of all ongoing tasks. No more digging through modules, everything you’re working on is now one click away. Visibility = productivity!

Marketing: Smart, Integrated, and AI-Ready 

A brand-new Zoho Marketing Automation is coming in late 2026, and it’s will be integrated into the CRM interface. For the user of Marketing Plus Suite, the AI built into Brand Studio can now generate marketing plans. Think: fewer headaches, more campaigns!

NEW: Zoho Publish, Reputation Management Made Easy

Zoho is launching Zoho Publish, a unified platform designed to manage online reviews and business listings. Perfect for franchises, multi-location businesses, and marketing agencies, it includes:

  • Review management
  • Automated reply workflows
  • CRM and Desk integration
  • Reputation analytics

Zoho Analytics: Custom, Powerful Visuals 

Expect more flexibility with:

  • New data connectors
  • Custom roles and permissions
  • Custom visualizations via D3.js, Highcharts, Plotly — or your favorite JS library

Zoho Projects: to a complete project management platform 

Coming in January 2026:

  • Custom modules, dashboards, and reports
  • Modules like Programs, Portfolios, and Risk Management
  • Skillset-based resource recommendations
  • New ZIA features: translate, summarize, auto-tag, and even connect to external LLMs

AI & Support: Zia Just Got an Upgrade 

New Zia Agents are coming to Zoho Desk:

  • Assign tickets to agents — they’ll respond like human teammates
  • “Resolution Expert” agents can auto-summarize tickets
  • Powered by GPT-4o, with built-in data usage disclaimers

HR & Collaboration: AI-Powered Talent Management 

In Zoho Recruit:

  • AI-generated candidate summaries
  • Note and job description summarization
  • “Ask ZIA” for smart candidate-job matching

In Zoho People:

  • Recognition & rewards features (coming soon!)
  • A new Confirmation/Probation module with onboarding, LMS, and performance tracking (coming soon!)
  • Syncing with Microsoft & Gmail calendars. Automatically add unavailable days to your calendar based on approved leave in Zoho People.
