The Zoho ecosystem never slows down, and neither does the NSI team. At the recent Zoholics events in Houston and Toronto, our team got the scoop on the latest announcements regarding the platform’s upcoming updates, and one thing is clear: Zoho continues to address the pain points that were still holding some businesses back, while further advancing the integration of its applications.
As Zoho’s first Premium Partner in Canada, our role is to bridge the gap between these capabilities and your actual business needs. Here are the new features that have caught our attention the most, and what they’ll mean for you in practical terms.
Zoho ERP: Finally, a Serious Solution for Manufacturers
This is undoubtedly the most anticipated announcement: Zoho ERP has been announced for the fourth quarter of 2026, and it will be a game-changer for manufacturing companies.
Why all the excitement? Because, historically, Zoho Inventory has not adequately served the manufacturing sector. It was difficult to track processed products throughout the production chain and to cover the entire production floor. Zoho ERP solves this problem: it combines the already robust features of the Zoho financial suite and adds an additional layer dedicated to production management. Expected result: much better tracking of all material production, from raw materials to finished goods.

The key takeaway is that this new feature opens the door to sectors that Zoho has not served as well in the past, with manufacturing and distribution at the top of the list. For your operations, this promises more seamless integration between finance, inventory, and the production floor, without having to juggle disparate systems.
Zoho Projects: Taking Resource Planning to the Next Level
Good news for project managers: a feature that has been long awaited is finally coming in 2026, Project Resource Planning.
Today, in Zoho Projects, you can assign tasks with a set number of hours to portal users. By viewing a workload report, you can then see who is busy, on which tasks, and at what stage in the process. This is useful, but it’s more of a reflection of planning that’s already been done than a true resource planning tool.
The next version flips the logic on its head. Rather than simply tracking workload, you’ll be able to assign users to specific projects based on a percentage of their capacity. In practical terms, project managers will know which resources they can count on, and to what extent, so they can plan their projects in advance.
The benefit is clear: instead of having to review all the resources on a portal, which is a time-consuming process today, you’ll be able to plan your projects knowing exactly which resources have been allocated to you. This means smoother, more reliable planning and significantly less guesswork.
Zoho One: Toward a Truly Unified Experience
Zoho One has always been committed to providing a unified experience across Zoho applications: a single sign-in grants access to all tools and systems, and management is centralized. But recent updates take this even further.
- Zoho One Spaces. Launched about a year ago and currently being refined, this interface lets you manage applications through dedicated spaces. For example, you can create a space for marketing and another for human resources, each with its own specific applications and tools tailored to the right people. The goal: to design spaces that are truly tailored to each team.

- Domain unification. Previously, you had to authenticate your domain separately in each application: CRM, Desk, Analytics, and so on. Now, you only need to do this once, either in Zoho One or in one of the applications, and the synchronization is applied across the board. This saves a significant amount of time and reduces the likelihood of errors.
- A centralized view of integrations. Zoho One now brings together all active integrations between your applications in one place: you can see at a glance that the CRM is integrated with Projects, Projects with Analytics, and so on. Better yet, you can see who owns each integration. This view also includes Zoho Flow: you can see all of the organization’s active flows, along with a dashboard showing the number of executions.
- The unified customer portal. Many organizations used to have multiple portals, one for CRM, one for Books, and many others. The unified customer portal allows you to consolidate these existing portals into a single, fully customizable portal: colors, branding, and even a specific URL. Your external customers thus access a single portal, tailored to your brand, which gives them access to tools from CRM, Books, and other applications. For the external user experience, this is a true game-changer.
And Beyond: AI is Making its Way into App Development and Marketing
Several other developments are worth keeping a close eye on.
On the Zoho Creator side, the platform is evolving toward an agent-based model: it is now possible to build AI agents within Kiosks, which receive input data, perform calculations or make decisions, and then feed the results back into the workflow, for example, to calculate and apply a discount value to a quote, within a controlled environment. Added to this is a loop function to repeat actions across multiple records, as well as a major redesign of the interface, with richer components and greater control over rendering for developers
On the marketing front, the announcements focus on improved, near-real-time CRM-Campaigns synchronization; upcoming updates to Zoho Social from Meta; and Brand Studio, which enables users to plan comprehensive marketing projects and manage multiple brands, a key advantage for multi-site organizations or agencies that need to coordinate separate campaigns for each brand.
What Now?
The common thread running through all these new features is clear: Zoho continues to reduce friction, unify experiences, and expand into new sectors such as manufacturing. But a powerful platform alone is never enough. What makes the difference is the expert support that comes with it, the ability to bridge the gap between these capabilities and the reality of your business.
That’s exactly where NSI comes in. Want to know how these new features can be integrated into your operations? Let’s talk about it and work together to create your next success story.
